Black Lagoon Reviews is finally off the ground and considering how new it is, I'm really surprised that it's coming along so well. Especially considering I've never considered myself a blogger...um, wow that was a lot of considering!! LOL..it just seems weird to give my opinion sans critque and I'm having a hard time breaking that habit. Nor did I realize how much difference there is between blogging and merely hosting a website. So much more to it! Whew!! But, I'm really enjoying it depsite...or maybe beacuase of the work going into it. It's nice to have something to do besides morn the absence of my muse if you know waht I mean. Anyways, my reason for this post.

Since this month is my birthday I want to host my first contest/giveaway, but am not sure which book to offer. I want it to be something that I've read and have liked, especailly within the last year, so here are my thoughts...however, I would appreciate any thoughts about what yall would enjoy recieving. This is a big help for anyone who would just take a moment to give my their opinion :) Thanks guys!!

What book would you prefer to win in a Black Lagoon Reviews contest/giveaway?

I know, it's been forever since I've posted here. Mainly I've just been busy. Add to that a lack of muse and well, you know how it goes. However, I've been reading like crazy so I made a blog to host all of my reviews, recommendations, etc. Hopefully I will be branching out into other areas soon including contests and giveaways and author interviews. For some reason, it feels like it should be fall to me. Like Halloween should be this month rather then next. But what can you do? Oh! I know!! Horror movie marathon! LOL. I've seen a few challenges floating around at some of my favorite horror blogs and various meme's, so I decided, why not? I'm in the spirit, so to speak, for October's Horror Fest, so why not start a little early. 100 horror/sci-fi movies til Halloween. That's my goal at least. So, let the count down begin!

Yay! After saying yesterday I had no inspiration for a new BL layout....guess what? I got smacked in the face with it! So now, there's a fresh layout over at Black Lagoon meeting all my wants. Simple and clean. And did I mention it's updated with some new art? Because, um....it is :D
